Well bittersweet this morning - Last youth weekend with the youngest of 3! Good luck to all these young hunters. Enjoy it while you can (even the frustrations)- they grow up fast.

Yep bittersweet. Mine youngest is 19 now, so it's been a bit, but lots of good times ahead! Goodluck.......

Do not regret growing older, it's a privilege denied to many!

Me and the not so silent assassin checking in from south Baldwin. Good luck everybody.

Its better to be a warrior in the garden than a gardener in war.

Some people feel the rain others just get wet.

We’re out watching the rain. (He’s on his iPad, whatever it takes). Good luck to all the young hunters!

In a shooting house with my 9 year old daughter. She got one with a crossbow last weekend, hoping she can drop a few more does for me.

Sounds like fun! We was gonna ease over to the one in Hebron to see what the yungins kill, at least the dogs won't be stopped up from all the dust this year 🤣

Typical youth season hunt so far - the shooter was absent from the group that shows every morning 😳😅. Last year the gun didn’t go boom (user error) - like I said enjoy - but…..this means I get another sit tomorrow. Cant hunt this evening.

If I had realized he was out of school, I would have taken today off work, but he also has baseball workouts this evening. We’ll get after them tomorrow and Sunday.

Sitting with my granddaughter this morning, this is her last youth hunt. We going to make a weekend of it.
On the way to camp last night she’s telling me what kind of car she wants, and how big a buck she wants to kill.
Wonder how often I’ll see her when she gets that car.
Man they grow up fast.
