I’d look off 119 in the Shades Creek, Grants Mill, out towards Leeds area.

Price range like that i have no clue why anyone would move into a neigborhood. None of my bussiness but you could buy a nice plot of land and house out in the country and you could shoot that deer and not have to listen to some yuppie crying over it.

I’m in Brook Highland. Seen some really nice bucks through the years. You will as well if you are in the right location. Have buddies in Eagle Point that see some good ones. Good luck.

If you must know, my personal reason was to have my kids in the best school system in the state. Plus…I’ve got land out in the country to shoot all the deer I want. Nothing in the rule book that says you can’t have both.

There are no deer in the Hoover area. Look elsewhere. 😇

My fault Mjh97, I misread/misunderstood your post and thought you were talking to me when I read the part about shooting that deer without worrying abt the yuppie next door. Pretty obvious what you were saying now. beers

Been a long day and my data uptake is lagging tonight.

I live in Hoover with a white oak in front of my house. We watched deer eat acorns for three straight weeks, every day. They even bed in our front yard. My wife found the head and one leg of a fawn in our side yard about 60 days ago. Remnants of it thanks to a coyote.

That Alabama record dear killed 3 years ago happened over near Ross Bridge.

I know a guy who tried to bow hunt a monster near acton road exit off 459 about 5 years ago.

Deer are everywhere. The family of 6 that we see around my house are cherished by the 'hood. They all look real healthy.

I would look at the Dunnavant Valley area around Shoal Creek.

Anywhere around 459 should work: Leeds, Trussville, Liberty Park, Hoover. We live right off 459 near Liberty Park. Had 4 does in my front yard this morning.

Check out The Highlands in Chelsea. Gated estate lots , nature conservatory, lake, it's in your price point.
