I received one as a gift last year that’s a knock off from the solo. I am actually giving it away, the smoke is terrible trying to get it going, and you basically have to be directly over it constantly when getting it going so it burns my eyes and face terrible. I’ve moved back to the chiminea (spelling?) and enjoy it much more.

Old metal washing machine basket does a pretty good job. Burns hot and not much smoke at all. And it’s a whole lot cheaper and you get the enjoyment of tearing that old POS washing machine (that you hated) to pieces.

I made a washing machine basket fire pit about a month ago.Only used it once before it got too dry to burn. I think I’m gonna like it.
