I saw enough acorns yesterday that deer will be feasting until January From the time I walked into the wood line I was seeing them everywhere and almost fell down a few times because they were rolling under my feet as I was going downhill
When I need expert advice I tend to talk to myself The older I get the better I used to be

Was up on skyline last weekend and couldn't hardly stand up from all the acorns rolling under my feet and the steep mountain side Same as my place in Marshall Co. Dang deer can just lay down, nap, wake up, roll over and get a belly full, and then go back to sleep!

I must be looking at the wrong tree’s cause I haven’t seen any. I’m setting at lowndes wma surrounded by oaks and haven’t heard one hit the ground yet. I reckon I’ll put a few more miles on the boots and see what I can find Was down there scouting a month ago. Could not find any and have not had any across three counties in different properties. Few water oaks petering out. I don’t understand how Birmingham and up is covered in them and down here they are few and far between.

Bibb cnty they were raining white oaks this morning. My deer at the house have almost vanished the last week due to acorns.
Would walk over a naked woman to get to a gobblin turkey!

The white oaks around the river on the Walker/Jeffco line are raining very large ones.
Used to be a lifeguard, until that blue kid got me fired.

One of the best crops I've ever had , all varieties . Great for woods hunters.

Very slim pickings for acorns in West Alabama this year. Had an awesome corp last two years, but not this year.
83% of all statistics are made up.
