Not really related to Deer management but what is the most economical pre-emerge for Bermuda grass? Ive seen some stuff that is outrageously priced. My biggest problem is crab grass in the late spring/early summer.

Depends on the setting. For your yard it will be different than your pasture. Most PRE herbicides that are any count aren’t usually cheap.

If you do the things you need to do when you need to do them then someday you can do the things you want to do when you want to do them.

There is some I get from Lowes I think, it says "professional" on it and the bag is white and yellow, it does a good job. Last year I used some kind from spectracide, and it looked more like bug killer granules, but it worked good too, and it killed weeds that were emerged too.

When I see crab grass, I grab a flat head screw driver and dig it up/out. When I bought my house in 2015, I had a neighbor with a hoopdie mower and a yard to match. I have steadly increased my crab grass free buffer zone between that yard and mine. My new neighbor works on it, but he has an infestation. If you look you can see the line where my application stops, and it goes out as I walk around my HVAC unit outside. It's pretty funny.

I spot treat weeds in bermuda with Manor. I have seen my neighbor have his yard treated and it knocks the crabgrass back, but I am pretty convinced if you have alot of it, you need to dig it up by the roots. Wait til it rains and the ground is soft, and then it comes out really easy with a screw driver.

The Andersons Barricade 50 lb bag.

Currently 88 dollars on Amazon. This is granular, but the spray is cheaper.

Prowl H20 at 2 quarts per acre, sprayed in late February will prevent crabgrass until around August. It's cheap.

wait till feb 1, blanket with glyphosate (qt/a) and mix with HALF of a seasonal rate of whatever pre emergent u decide to use. put the other half down around mid march -april. prodiamine does extremely well on summer weeds

I do spray Gly usually in February and it knocks out the henbit and cold weather weeds. I looked at the prodiamine and believe that is what I will try. Im assuming Feb would be a good time to spray the Prodiamine or should I get it down earlier

I used prowl on some of my chufas with bad weed problems this year, but I only used one quart. I still don't see any crabgrass, and it at least delayed the sandspurs. But the sandspurs came on strong towards the end, and that was after spraying with Clethodim too. I don't think I am getting rid of the sandspurs.
