Over here in Alabama we should have a pretty good view of a Solar Eclipse about a half hour or so before noon. A little further west in Texas they should get the full show.

I have seen raccoons and possums come out during a really dark eclipse. That was maybe 35+ years ago.

Went to see the last total eclipse in Tennessee cairo a bunch of deer went running through town as it got dark. If you never seen a total eclipse where you can look at the sun, then it’s worth traveling too. It was a very strange feeling for a few minutes.

I would compare it to experiencing an earthquake.

About done now. We used the tiny hole in a piece of pasteboard to look at it. It works but I don't reccomend the method.
