You can just label an animal a support animal and buy all the attire and certificates for it on Ebay. That doesn't make it one, but you can claim it as one. You are correct that there is a difference between a Service Animal and a Support Animal. It starts with the level of training and certification the animal goes through. Service animals are highly trained. Support animals usually are not.

When I got Raven, I had decided to make her Service Canine. She wasn’t going to be a drug dog, bomb dog or trained to detect firearms. I was gonna train her to detect dumasses. While in training, I decided to give her a break and bring her to the camp for the weekend with some of my buddies. Poor thing bombed after that weekend!! It was dumass overload for her and we had to take a different route with her. I decided it would be better to train her to track deer, hogs and chocolate donuts. She has become an expert at all of the above.

Deer, wild hogs, yotes, bobcat, are my emotional support animals of choice, I just choot them and my anxiety goes away. Oh and an occasional turkey.

There were two dogs at a JV football game Tuesday at our place.
I don’t get it. Oh wait didn’t we just have this conversation?

I for one enjoy having a dog. . As long as I have one I'll take care of it .

Me too. I like my dogs a lot more than I like most people. One thing my crappy parents taught me, you can't trust people no matter how close of a relation they are. My dogs are 100x better than my own parents.

for it to be a support animal it has to go through a doctor and he has to fill out a form stating it is needed as one .

i renters has to be very careful about support animals laws .

All dogs are emotional support animals. All pets for that matter.

Forcing them on the public is out of line and needs to stop.

If you can't go out in public without them, then don't go out in public.

Stay home, in your basement, in your underwear for all I care.

The days of advertising mental instability need to cease.

Character is not developed in moments of temptation and trial. That is when it is intended to be used.

if ask they have to show proof that is . ever body that had a true service/support animal at the apartment complex i worked at would not allow you to pet their animal .

i was told several times never interact with one , if they have the vest on dont touch .

It's really hard, too. My niece got her dog a certificate online for less than $100 to get into a different apartment that didn't allow pets.

She doesn't like my opinion of that particular act.

I think I'll get an emotional support Mule, name it Fluffy and carry it to the Walmarks. "Come on Fluffy, let's go look around in the produce section."

How many Karens that take Fifi to WalMart and claim they have the Right because it is a Support Animal do you think went to a Dr. to get a letter saying they have to have Fifi with them all the time? Maybe a few are legit and needed but then I think they would be trained as a Service Animal. Don't let these nuts run over you as a landlord. You have to allow Service Animals, for good reason, but I don't believe you have to allow them because they claim them to be Support Animals. I'd sure make them provide all the documentation from a Dr. if you do.

Personally, I would be embarrassed to tell someone I was so messed up I can't function without Oswald and Goose, who are my support Dachshunds.

I use to train service dogs and the government does not certify dog for service the people that train the dog will provide a certificate that is not really any good except to make you feel better . To us a service dog was for a diabetes alert or seizure or physical disability

jawbone, no way in hell would i do it . way things are going having a support animal might cost you to loose you right to own firearms .

by going to a doctor for a support animal youre admitting you have a mental problem and a doctor is verifying it .

Had a tenant tell me she had a Guinea pig as an emotional support animal. What a crock of crap. What would an animal that's scared of its on shadow do for you?
