You don’t care much about your dog if you’ll put him in with some of these catch dogs.

I don’t understand it. I need some nuts and bolts and some paint from lowes, I know, let’s take the dog. Take them to the river, to the park or to the woods, not in the grocery store.

This. I have had pets my whole life. Never became so obsessed with any of them that I could not endure being separated from them long enough to run to the friggin store.

My dog has bitten two different people and is a liability. He will attack if he is in his yard or truck bed and you get too close. Once out of the truck or yard, he is approachable. It was a learning curve for me. He was a nice dog until he reached 3yrs old then he became all business. I'm constantly watching that nobody gets close to the truck or yard. He is kinda more than I bargained for but that's what I wanted. A guard dog to keep everyone out.

I gave him a bath today and he is feeling good. His name is Luke. Luke Duke 😂. I went outta town and he wouldn't let my neighbor close to the fence to feed him. She even brought her kid that Luke grew up with and that still didn't work. I had to get my ex wife to come feed him til I got back. Luke knew I was gone. If I'm at home, he will let that neighbor kid in the yard. All the neighborhood kids get a pass but if I'm not home, nobody gets a pass into the yard. Ever since he turned 3, I don't let anyone around him. He is dangerous and it's not fun worrying about that but that's the price you pay when you want a guard dog. That dog pees on top of my pee if I pee in my yard. Kinda makes me feel like a bitch but I let him do it. He has earned his keep. He is stuck up towards other dog breeds and only wants to play with other German Shepherds. He hates pit bulls too. Racist 😂

Agreed BC. I know of a real specific dog that would turn that rott inside out everyday for a week and twice in Sunday. And he don’t weigh 60 pounds.

If you own the business then you can do what you want!

I enjoy going into a business that has a dog or cat lounging around, never been in one where the animal wasn't perfectly behaved.

But I am not a big fan of folks bringing their animals along into stores because while some folks are very responsible animal owners and have well trained pets on leashes there are always a few bad actors who are oblivious to what their pets are doing or just not paying attention. The bad ones tend to ruin it for the good ones. I also see the same thing with parents and their children!

Well, I love dogs more than anyone else, but I don't believe that any dog should be brought inside a restaurant or grocery store.

Reckon how these dogs in public would react to them kids that’s cats… may need another thread for that. I sure would hate to derail this one.
