How long till this left pull thing goes away ??
I can’t figure out why I’m doing this because I corrected the drop of 4-6” this morning but when I release I can plainly see my shot go left
I did shoot one group in the red which was my first group and the other 2 were to the left

It better not be bent since it’s a new unit
Really I think it’s strength/stability issue
I’m working out using a Total Gym so is there any exercise that will help ? I know more practice will do this
Remember I’m missing part of my spine and a lot of muscle tissue under my shoulder blades

The lefts are most likely from torquing the grip during the shot. Make sure you’re gripping the bow like this.

I am no bow expert, but you will be surprised how much your grip can effect your shot.
It is very obvious for me when I am not gripping the bow properly. May just be me but my pins stabilize and hold 1000x better when my grip is correct than when it is off.

I’m working on it every day guys and I know I’m being a bit impatient with it
It just the memories of how things were versus seeing how they are now
Got a ways to go til I’m confident with going to the woods

I got back into the game this past June. I’ve shot about every day since trying to get back the confidence I used to have. Stay with it. Things will start coming together and you’re going to find your rhythm.

Laid off for 2 days to let my shoulder recover
Well it paid off
Shot my best groups yet
At 20 & 30 yds my groups were no more than 1.5"
I can finally set mt single pin sight on the correct yardage markers
Dont get me wrong I am not satisfied yet but I am pleased

You mentioned both working out and practicing with the bow. I don’t hit the gym like I once did, but let’s say I did a heavy shoulder day (hitting rear delts) or a heavy back day. If I shot my bow in that same day or the next day, I was shocked at how inept I was. Couldn’t pull the bow without jerking, pins all over the target, bow wanted to jerk out of the valley etc. If I skipped a day afterwards and then shot following a day or two of recovery it made all the difference. So what you are saying about rest makes sense to me.

I’m using a Total Gym and all it does is tone and condition
At 4 days a week I can’t do anymore or it makes me sore beyond belief
The 2 day layoff the bow and TG definitely helped
May have to cut my workouts to 3 days a week if it effects my shooting

Just my opinion, but I would not hit a muscle group with resistance training 4 times per week. You will not have time to recovery and would risk an overuse injury. Knowing that you are also training with your bow (itself a form of resistance training, and is actually activity specific), I would try cutting dedicated resistance training back to one or two times per week. I would hate to see you get an overuse injury, or cease progress, due to simply not having time to recover.

Had to adjust my draw length a bit
It helped with steadying my aim and my shoulder doesn’t seem to get as sore after a shooting session
