We met him outside of Bama's stadium back in the 80's. Seemed like a nice guy, but his handlers were rushing him. Dude was a lot bigger than he looked on TV.

I liked his style and voice. We got nothing even close now. Do what? Gus Johnson may be the best commentator to ever do it. Keith Jackson was just annoying.

I must be too young for Keith Jackson. I certainly know who he is, but when did he stop announcing? My all time favorite is Verne Lundquist  I'm pretty sure KJ's last game he worked was the USC/Texas natty in 2005.
