Got this call at the estate sell I bought my safe at in Marietta GA yesterday. It sounds like a locator call if some type, he was a big turkey hunter.

Distress call?

Man that's a Rougarou call. Made by Boudreaux Thibodeaux from South LA. He's my second cousin twice removed. If you blow it, you better be ready to fight to the death. If you suck on it, you probably done caught the gay.

That’s most likely a custom job that you’ll never find out who made it
It really looks to be shaped like a Peacock call and they’re used as locator calls

If it is high pitched it is likely a peacock/woodpecker locater call.
