I don't see any issue with them protecting their sovereign border with the buoys strung together, the ones whose responsibility it actually is aren't. Some were just slipping between the buoys, so I guess they amended the setup with razor wire for further discouragement.

If folks would stop trying to get into the country illegally there would not be a reason to string wire along the border.
Perhaps they should do a major alligator restocking program along the Rio Grande, you know, for the wildlife.

Bouy barriers cause grave danger to the criminals invading our country.

Eventually we’ll have to be friends with Mexico to keep all the other SOBs from coming in.

A fence charger and 100’ of extension cord in the water would be a good deterrent as well.

Reminds me of a joke. . .

You know why Mexico doesn’t ever do well in the Olympics?

Because every Mexican that can run, jump, or swim is already in the U.S.

Pay a crew of Mexicans $22hr/piece and watch what all can get done. I’ve worked them for 17 years. They’re the only demographic who you can trust to tell on the folks stealing from you. Seems like everyone else works for a good wage then all of a sudden decide they need to take more. They me amigo

You’re right about that. I love my Mexicans. My lead foreman is Mexican and over half of my renters are Hispanic. They all are legal and work their butt off for a living, none of that lay around and collect gubment checks bullchit.

The buoys are in a stretch about 1000’ long.

All of these Mexicans and Guatemalans aren’t funneling through that 1000’ stretch of the Rio Grande River. My bet is that most never even get wet when coming here.
