Past Ol’ man Finley’s plac...

I’m looking for something like a Stoeger condor or yildiz. I prefer a 20 but am open to 12 gauge as well.

20+ years ago I bought my dad a stoger and it has worked fine, the trigger guard has come loose on one end is the only issue I am aware of, thousands of shells. I friend has a 20 ga. yildiz O/U and it has worked fine for the past 5 years or so, say 500 shells maybe.

I bought a .410 O/U for my son for turkey hunting, can't remember the brand (turkish something) but it has been fine, maybe 200 shells.

I bought a 20 gauge tristar semiauto for my son a few years ago, he shot maybe 100 low brass loads through it then we took it duck hunting and it came apart on about the 7th shot. Not sure what all broke, but I could not even get it apart. Tristar did fix it, but it took a few weeks before I ever got to talk to anyone about it.

Go to academy and buy a Yildiz. Ask them to handle a few and choose the one that feels the best.

Best advice yet.

My Son bought a tristar and put about 500 rounds through it and it more or less came apart. Still sitting in safe in pieces..............................

I've got a 20 we like for shooting skeet with.
And yes look and hold the two different grades, then if you've got a good sales person look at the ones in the box to pick your wood. You don't have to assemble just see the wood through the plastic becasue they're all different in grain appeareance.

I got a 20g Yildiz from Academy for Mrs. Bamaeyedoc. I've shot it and it's nice.

I bought the 20ga stoeger Condor 10+ years ago for turkeys and love it. I bought the 28ga Condor this spring and love it too. Solid guns. Only drawback to me is that there is no barrel select. But that’s a minimal issue.

Just stay away from that ATI 3.5” O/U….unless you like shooting 7” of 12ga at once. Lol

Fabarm made one of the first 3.5" o/u to come out. I tried like hell to buy one off Gunbroker and just like usual, someone would get into a pissing contest over one.

Never handled a 28 guage or seen one - does it shoot similar to a 20? Guessing the 28 gauge is weaker than the 20?
