I never saw another car stop in that video. That is curious both from an abduction and intentional run away situation. Like fattyfireplug said, she pretty much had to have gone through the woods and been picked up on Atkins Trim/Al Sier road. I don’t see a young female blazing through 100 yards or more of thick woods in the pitch black dark by herself. I’m thinking that slow roll to stop was to meet someone staged in the woods who was positioned to walk her back. I’d be looking at ring doorbells on Atkins Trim/Al Seir road to see what happened during that time. I’m sure the police are several steps ahead of my thinking.

That video raises more questions than it answers. First, she would have been doing at least speed limit there, in the dark, no other car saw a child, slowed down and stopped? Flashers were on WAY before the car stopped, indicating she saw the child from a very long way away, at high speed, in the dark. Then she didn't back up. Every single time I've helped a stranded motorist, I had to process, begin pulling over, stop without getting hit, back up. Without exception. That car took a slow roll to a complete stop and never moved again.
No other vehicle ever stopped that I could see. Lots moved over, slowed down, but never stopped. I didn't count the cars that passed, but it was a lot during a 4 minute span.
I thought I saw the vehicle door on the right side open and someone step out. Never saw the left door open, but maybe I could have missed it. Left side would be better lit due to traffic.
There is a neighborhood that parallels I459 in that location. Basically a couple hundred yards away with a wooded/hilled area between them. If I were a betting man, she dropped that vehicle, walked through that wood line and was picked up on Al Seier or Atkins Trim. I'd also bet she miraculously escapes and is found in the next few days. I'd wager a months salary it's not a kidnapping.
If I'm going to kidnap or rob someone, it's not going to be on a road with 100 cars driving by constantly, with lights on and witnesses. I'd do it on a much less busy road.
I'm jaded. I know that. I don't want to believe the worst in people, but I've seen too much to think otherwise until proven different. Maybe she had already passed there and exited to turn around and come back and that is why she was already slowed down with flashers on? On a super busy road at night, I would likely try to exit the passenger's side to try to avoid being hit by another vehicle if I was compelled to exit the vehicle in the first place. Whatever happened, I hope she is found safe and that it isn't just a big hoax.

How would an abductor know who their target was going to be? Seems like a lot of trouble placing a kid in the highway for a 45 yr old single man to stop and not a young woman. Very odd…

This is one bizarre story. Something ain’t adding up. Lot of red flags and tingling spidey senses. A random toddler at night on a road, that can't be found? A woman disappears with no trace? Sounds like, potentially, someone trying to get away from something.

Why drive that far if you have seen a toddler on the side of an interstate at night??? You're doing 65 mph (or more, on 459) in either lane and see what you believe is a toddler walking on the side of the road. Think of that: you're driving fast, it's dark, you see "something" and think "Oh, wow, was that a child?!?!?!" While thinking that, you're going to almost go a quarter-mile going through your mind about slowing down, OMG a baby, what do I do, grabbing your phone and ... And in ALL that flurry of thought, you're of the presence of mind to put on your hazard lights AND get in the emergency lane AND slow enough to stop so you can get out to check? And you do all that but leave your phone and watch in the car? Bullchit. All of us have been in that scenario somewhere -- interstate, 2-lane road, 4-lane highway, even perhaps in town -- and have seen something that gives us pause. Was that a coyote or a dog? Wow, was that a fox? Looked like a big bushy tail. What was that lump of stuff on the side of the road? And in that process we've already gone at least a quarter mile or more, probably. Even if it's an emergency situation, your reaction time unless you literally stomp on the brakes and stop almost immediately (throwing all your chit in the vehicle everywhere) still takes you for a bit. Even IF there was a toddler, WTF does that as a lure? No one. Kidnapping is bad and you might do some time. Using a baby as a lure, thus endangering the welfare of a child? No jury anywhere would let you skate on that. You're going to the hole for a while, and then in prison when they find out you used a toddler as a lure they're going to beat the chit out of you and do worse. Criminals may not give two chits about kidnapping and rape or whatever else, but I'll guarantee you there's some kind of code about kids and the elderly. This story won't end well, whether they find this woman harmed OR they find her and it was all a ruse, and then everyone will be pissed about "invading her privacy" or "leave her alone, she has issues" or whatever else they want to say.

Isn't 459 lit pretty well at night? If there was a 3' tall person walking on the side of the road, most of us could positively ID that at 70 mph. It would also take time to process that, then slow down. This world makes most of us suspicious of everything, but the story is believable to me. I saw a gold ring laying in the road one time driving 35 mph. Took me a minute to stop and go back and get it. I've seen items on top of guard rail posts while driving 60 mph. IMO it wouldn't be hard to spot a child. If it was a trafficking situation, it was probably a dummy anyway. EDIT: Just watched the video. Definitely not lit up in that area. The video isn't good enough quality to enlarge and see much detail and the flashing lights wash out most of it.

It looked like in the video someone got out of the car and stood by it for a few minute and then walked into to woods. Not certain though

Parts of 459 are lit at night, not sure if that part is.
