roadkill OP 14 point R Joined: Sep 2012 Posts: 7,262 just south of the Tennesse riv...	Went out a couple of nights ago for some quiet time in the woods. Set up at the McDougal hunting camp off 33. Campsite was about 200 yds from the road. Starting at about 9pm one semi followed another every 20-30 minutes. Don't know where they were going but a lot of them went there. Loud, used jake brakes, ect. I finally got to sleep at 1:00AM, woke up again at 3AM, loaded up and left. Miserable night. Not going to do that again.

At least they weren’t honking their horn at you too. It was almost like they saw the campfire and we’re trying to wake us up or give a jump. Bushy lake is quieter but you gotta pay a couple bucks and probably more people. Bet you’d get better sleep over that way though.
