Bad loss for Auburn to Penn. They'll be backs to the wall now to get out of their regional.

Troy played one of the most entertaining games I've watched today against Boston College and escaped with a win.

Troy will get the winner of Bama / Nicholls St. Which is on now with Bama down 0-1.

SEC so far is 7-1 on the day with A&M and Bama left to play.

SEC ends up 9-1 on the day. Auburn spoils the perfect day

Bama eeeked it out in bottom of 9th. They may not make it out of Tuscaloosa.

Never know with baseball, but on the bright side, they beat Troy twice already this year and Boston College and Nichols state both have a loss.

The pitcher they played last night was in the top 3 we’ve faced all year. Dude will be in transfer portal and going sec after the season. Also, Nichols state beat lsu earlier in the year and is a dang good team.

Auburn lost their two best pitchers early in the year, they don't have enough left to get out of the region after the loss. Penn has several players transferring to SEC and ACC schools next year. It was great coaching by Penn to play small ball and score some runs.

Penn has a dang good pitching staff. Also, they know
how to bunt, play situation baseball, and hit breaking balls
to the opposite field.
Auburn has not shown much of any of this this year.
Love Butch Thompson and want him there for lots
of years.
I'm sure they work on bunting, but I've seen HS teams
bunt better. (Granted not the same pitching.)

Looks like AU season is coming to a close. Would love to see at least 7 SEC teams make it out to the regionals. Today is moving day. Win today and chances of advancing go up exponentially.

Several SEC teams struggling right now. UT just took the lead in the top of the 9th. UK is losing in the 8th. Florida is down by 2 in the 9th

Florida goes down and Tennersee gets tied up in the bottom of the 9th with Clemson

Tennessee, South Carolina, and Alabama are all through to super regionals. Auburn and Vandy have been eliminated.

LSU, Florida, Kentucky, and A&M all can go to Super's with a win today. Arkansas will have to beat TCU twice to get in.

Bama gets wake forest, the overall #1 seed, in the supers. They are good. Really good.
