Picked up a couple of Duke 850 Pro Series. These things are massive, weighing 5.5 lbs on digital scales. The spring pins are 1/4” cold rolled stock, swivels are made from square tube with welded j-hooks. The ones I bought are offset but I’m going to grind off the small pads that create the offset.

Nice, I grind all my 550 pro's. Not a fan of offset traps myself

Those look nice and I'd say youre doing the right thing in grinding that offset if these are for beaver
Anything on dry land I use offsets

When I need expert advice I tend to talk to myself

I'd prefer the closed jaw but these were a few bucks cheaper. Figured I'd give them a shot.

Are you going to dye and wax those ?
I’ve started painting mine and waiting a couple weeks then wax them
The paint lasts for several seasons but the wax is only good for a season

I'll paint them. I have some floor wax I may dip them in after the paint dries.
