Sako Riihimaki's seem to be valuable based on what they go for on gunbroker. What makes them a good shooting rifle?

Rihimaki is the city in Finland where they are made. The .222 is probably an L46 model. Highly desirable top shelf rifle. There’s a Sako collectors club forum that can really break it down for you in even more detail. Amazing craftsmanship for a “factory” rifle.

I have a heavy barrel , single set trigger, and I believe it has the Birch stock. It's the most accurate centerfire rifle I've ever fired. I don't know why it shoots so well , it just does.

I'll have to do a search on the serial number. I don't see a model number.

EDIT: Looks like mine was made around 1958 or 59.
