What's the best way to store vegetable seeds until next year and beyond?

Seeds stay good forever as long as the sun, heat or moisture don't get them. I don't freeze mine because I don't trust the moisture. Rethawing.

I keep mine in zip lock bags in a rubber ware bin in a spare room. I have a huge collection and decided that's the safest bet for me.

Onced thawed, I'd hate to refreeze them due to condensation. If you don't use a deep freezer, the rest automatically thaws. That's why I don't keep anything in the fridge freezer. Freezer burn ice cream sucks.

Just keep them dry and at a steady temp not too cool or too warm and they’ll last several years!

I have a dedicated three foot refrigerator for my seeds and divide then into ziplock bags for each crop. Works great. Know folks that freeze too but my preference is the refrigerator. I planted seed from 4 years ago this year and they came up beautifully.

Be kind to one another and tell the ones you love that you love them often. We never know what tomorrow will bring.
