Anybody on Aldeer using them?

Thinking about trying the 90 gr Absolute Hammer in the 257 Bee I just picked up. 3800+ FPS sounds interesting.

Accuracy?

Ease of load development?

Performance on critters?

Thanks for your input

Talked to the folks there and was and still am on the fence about them. Can't really see any advantages over anything else out there

Load data? I'm not much of a pioneer, I guess.

From the forums, the hammer folks will give you a pretty good start on load development if you call them. Users say they are the easiest bullets to get an accurate load for in any rifle. 🤷🏼‍♂️

I’m not much on how they’re designed to perform, so I’ve never tried them.

Good luck. There’s a pile of folks that swear by them elsewhere.

I've looked at the 120 grain hammers to try in my 7mm-08 but for the price I just cant see them being worth it but that's just my opinion.

Using them for two seasons now and I love them.

It’s like a ballistic tip and Barnes made a perfect love child. You get massive rapid expansion and an exit and minimal bloodshot meat due to it being all copper.

I’ve killed about 15 with them now and they kill quicker than any bullet I’ve ever shot with any any caliber. All my kills have been with the 88gr hammer hunters in a 6mm creedmoor.

An added bonus is for some reason they leave a very visible vapor trail and if you video the shot you can play it back and it’s almost like watching a lighted nock on an arrow in flight. You can tell exactly where you hit.

The first random (pretty hot) load I tried shoots <0.75 MOA in 3 different rifles.

You're only as good as your worst shot-

I inquired after these a while back. No luck. Somebody find us a load range with CFE223

https://hammerbullets.com/product/308-cal-120g-lever-shock-hammer/#reviews

I'm liking Speer 130gr right now but more speed would be nicer.
