I've been riding around with a very large .357 in my truck for a while. Occasionally I'm in a bad neighborhood and that piece is a bit much to holster when inspecting. I'm wanting something a lot smaller. Going to start looking at some .380 and 9mm for concealed. Don't have any real specifics other than it needs to be a smaller frame but I also have big hands. It's just got to feel right for me to buy it.

Suggestions? What do you guys who have larger hands use? When I've got it on me, I'll be entering crawlspaces, attics and roofs. Once I'm inside I normally lock doors, but when I'm outside I have to keep my head on a swivel. I've had a few try to sneak up on me over the years. None successful but you just never know. Especially when I'm on a roof or crawlspace, it makes me vulnerable.

Character is not developed in moments of temptation and trial. That is when it is intended to be used.

Sig 365 or 365 xl. It's about the same size as Glock 380 but holds 10 or 12 rounds.

I like the Sig P365 or the Glock 43X. Both are smaller but I shoot them well.

Have had a shield 9mm, glock 43 9mm and a springfield hellcat 9mm. Hellcat holds 13 rounds so its what I carry most. They are all about the same size

I carry a 432PD in my front pocket everywhere. Ruger sells a .327 LCR. A hot .32 gives you an extra round over a .38, etc. I have XL hands.

A higher capacity pistol would be better if you saw the threat coming from a distance, but you can empty one of those shrouded hammer revolvers while it's still in your pocket or jammed into their side.

I just recently acquired a Ruger SR40. Like everything about it.

I like the Walther PPSM2, 9MM.
Not too big, midsized. Conceals well.

Whatever you end up carrying, practice with it.

S&W Shield EZ in .380 is my daily carry. They also come in .9mm. It conceals well and can easily store an extra mag. Sometimes I’ll carry a .45 or .40, but it’s dependent on where I’m going and what I’m doing. I can conceal the EZ and still work standing, kneeling or laying down without discomfort.

42 or 43 with the technaclip instead of a holster is my preference. I usually tote the 42

I’ve got a Hellcat with a 15 round mag. I feel comfortable shooting it and like the capacity and conceal ability. I still carry my S&W 340pd in .357 mag. It’s better for concealment, but lacks in capacity, and I’m not as accurate with it.

Glock 43x or 19. Also take a look at the PSA Dagger with cut slides basically Glock 19 with more factory options.
