Smart politcol move by DeSantis Smart because he can say this but in reality the Constitution calls for extraditions between states. Democrats KNOW this isn't going to stick and likely isn't going to hurt Trump. It makes all other republican candidates less likely to be challengers. So why are they doing it? Because they know Trump being the GOP representative gets their base motivated too. Biden doesn't do anything to inspire anyone and his performance SHOULD cripple him in the next election. Unless Trump is running.
Further, this Stunt will make just about any charges against ANY Biden impossible. Once the "Politically motivated charges" are dropped and dismissed, it will make every single charge that could possibly be dropped on the Bidens into "Politically Motivated." No matter how relevant and proper those charges may be.
This is why they are doing what they are doing. They are playing Chess while everyone else is playing Checkers. And they are thinking long term.
Character is not developed in moments of temptation and trial. That is when it is intended to be used.
