Short hunt this morning. No talking but 2 longbeards came in silent . #1 down for the year. 6:45 Same thing we've experienced so far, no gobbles coming in silent They done boogerd up real bad from the early starters…..Let it green up some here and they will talk more. I figure Congrats

Y’all kill me with hearing 4-5 dif gobblers. I’ve only heard 4 one time in my life. We’re lucky to have one to hunt.
Good luck! There’s plenty of folks that really do have big numbers like that but there’s just as many that are hearing the same bird or two, just with their head turned in a different direction for each gobble. Deep hollows and hills magnify the effect even more.

Before my Russell Co. place Got overrun with hogs and then got clear cut, there were very few mornings that I heard less than 4-5 birds and sometimes it was more than that. It is starting to come back some now. The one I shot yesterday had 2 others with him and one was gobbling behind me. Definitely not typical for the last few years but ill take that magic when it happens.

My Turkey Hunt won’t take place for another month. I hunt in Huron County MI with a close buddy who is a real Turkey Whisperer. My hunts with him have never lasted longer than 2 days, and we’re 7/7 hunting together. Here’s my long beard from last April. He had two beards, the longest of which was 10” and 1 1/4” Spurs.
