I’m a big fan of the Ruger 5.7x28. IMO it handles much better than the FN version. It is LOUD with a very sharp crack and you definitely wouldn’t want to shoot it without hearing protection. I love shooting armadillos with the 40gr V-Max, makes ‘em pop like a balloon. Only regret I have is not stocking up on the ammo when it was cheaper because my son has a heavy trigger finger and it’s one of his favorite guns to shoot.

Yessir! I’m always gonna shoot what makes me happy and I want everyone else to do the same! If you shoot one be proud of it and don’t worry what anyone else thinks. - SJ22

Agree. I picked up a Diamondback dbx57 (wicked thin comparted to a AR) and really enjoying the 5.7 round. Hopefully with Palmetto and S&W releasing 5.7 pistols this year ammo prices will drop some more. Also like I can use the smaller 22 suppressor with the 5.7.

A lot of the rimfire suppressors are rated for the 5.7. I have a Silencer Co Sparrow in jail currently that s rated for it.

"Cull" is just another four letter word...

I stocked up several years ago when Palmetto had fn ammo on sale for $18.99 a box 😳
