If i add lime to my garden spot now and disk it or till it in, incorperating it into the ground really well, can i expect it to help my garden this year? I know pelletized lime will start working immediately if you disk it in. I would think if you disked or tilled powdered lime into soft soil, it would start working pretty quickly. Am i wrong.

No you’re not wrong, it will start working quicker than pellet. I would just disk it in good and give it 2-3 weeks.

I put 800 pounds of pelletized on mine last month and its been tilled and disced since
Anything beats what I had for a garden last year
