I reload for a 270 and 243 Win as well as a few pistols. How can I measure or tell if a rifle primer pocket is too enlarged and the brass should be tossed before I prime it and the primer feels a little bit too loose going in? This will be for varmit, target and deer , not precision shooting Thanks!!

By feel. If it's loose put it in trash There are ways to measure but you'll know if it's to loose Usually case head expansion is the cause.if it slips right on in you'll know .I know that's what she said.😁
