I’ve never seen any bear sign and no trail cam pics of anything out of the norm. We’ll see a few bobcats.
This tree was torn up from about 18” up to 7ft all the way around.

That doesn’t look like a typical rub. I agree. Woodpecker maybe. Something pecked or chewed the hell out of that tree.

Frankie i have longleaf and they don't have beatles . A few years ago the woodpeckers destroyed several of my trees .
