All I could figure is he'd get so worked up he'd rub up the tree and ride it over and then snap the top . Then the tree would stand back up when he backed off. I ve never seen anything like that before or since. I rattled him in on Dec. 27 . He was just a, one eyed, heavy, big framed 8 pt , but field dressed 187 . His neck just behind the head was 24" , 1/2 way down the neck below the white patch was 34". I've never seen a buck around here with a bigger neck , looked like a Canadian .

Here’s one I found a few years ago. It’s close to your house too.

I’ve always seen the biggest sign post rubs on pines. I’ve never seen a buck work over locust before like the one I showed.

Me too and me either. Seen some big ones on cedars and basswood too, but the biggest were always on pines.

I've seen cow horn spikes rub on trees 6"+ in Dia you can't judge a deer on what size tree he rubs unless you have pics of him doing it hell a decent 6pt can destroy a tree...

Keep your booger hooker off the bang switch.

There is a difference, all rubs are not rubbed by most or all bucks in the area. Chew on that.

Sally went to the grocery and purchased 2 apples yesterday morning.

Question: How many apples did Sally purchase?

Answer = 2

I'm good with starting with the basics.
