That 5075E is based on the same frame (chassis) as the 45 hp version. It might weigh a little more since bigger tires, wheels etc but it won’t be more than 1k more. All the implements will weigh more though.
I doubt you’ll find a 40-50 for a whole lot less. Your 1/2 ton pickup will pull it fine, if you act right. I pulled a 50hp JD with a bush hog all over with a Toyota Tacoma and it’s replacement 4Runner. I had trailer brakes and a brake controller and I was careful. I also only did it a couple times a year. It took the hills between Monroeville and Camden just fine. If you’re gonna be in Gatlinburg type mountains never mind all that.
Now my JD was a 2wd and had no loader, so we’re talking maybe a ton less weight, but my Tacoma wasn’t a V8 half ton either. I didn’t get in a hurry and I never got too close behind anyone.
Now if you want less weight, look at a 4000 series (NOT a 3000) JD. They’re fine tractors.

I have a John Deere 5075e pre def with 420 hrs.Understand your wanting a 40 to 50 just throwing it out there as an option for you. It will come with loader,7 ft bushog, box blade, land plain blade, and a set of forks. Also a 10 ft rhino brand bushog that needs a little work. Total package will be 32,000. If interested shoot me a text or call 1-251-454-1389 If you want all the way on the other end of the state, this would probably be residing here in Leighton. Heck of a deal for someone folks. Don't look like folks have priced machinery lately. When I bought my tractor last year I priced the used Kubotas all over the state. Their prices were within a few thousand of a new tractor. Kubota has or had a 0% financing charge so I went ahead and bought a new tractor. I didn't really want to, but I really love my MX6000.

I bought M5660 from S. Alabama Kubota. Priced Mahindra's in N Alabama but there was not enough difference to get away from local service. Good thing because the first weekend I had it one of the hydraulic hoses on the grapple failed. They sent a tech over on Monday to replace the hose. Was a bad crimp from the factory but they worked to quickly fix the problem.
"Cull" is just another four letter word...

PM sent gog1015. I have a Kubota M4900 4x4 with quick detach loader. I’m selling only because I’m downsizing my acreage. I also have a 6’ cutter, heavy duty disc, and a box blade. I’ve owned the tractor for 10 years with zero issues. Robinhedd
