On my favorite December powerline. Foggy foggy foggy had one lone deer right at daylight. Neighbors kid outside hollering and his dog just crossed my field.

Present in a flooded hardwood creek bottom. Duck hunters on the other side of the creek have wore them out since daylight. Slacked off now. Foggy with a wet drizzle in the air. Two separate does so far moving to drier ground. Good luck to you all.

Might as well. I got blowed and stomped at a half dozen times yesterday and still had a good buck ease out before dark.

Getting ready to head out on a combo deer/mushroom hunt. I kind of hope I dont see a deer. one thing is sure. It is going to be muddy!

I was also a liar earlier when I said I was done with the 243 caliber. Im not taking my good guns out in this slop. Maybe I'll earhole a nice buck.

I should have worn shorts. In a shooting house overlooking a small field and a logging road. Wind is perfect for now. I wasn't planning on hunting today but my 9 year old had a couple of friends spend the night and they got up at 6am. Took 6 hours of noise, hit my limit, so I ran to the club for an easy afternoon hunt. It's very quiet 🤣 It helps I'm only 12 minutes away.

Just set down in the shooting house here at the house gone watch this green field to dark and see what shows up. Feels like a good evening. The woods are alive

Plenty of squirrel and dove movement. I'm settled in the condo watching a creek crossing and a small field.
