Back in a place I hunted earlier this year. What once was a dry slough bed is a wet dang mess. I didn't anticipate this much water in here. I've been waiting to hunt in here on some rain to make my spot a natural funnel. I managed to find a high spot, there's an oak flat in front of me and thick behind me. Water all behind me and from the direction I walk in. Guess that means no scent on the ground. Stay safe and good luck.

I’m in some really thick stuff. Seen a small 6 point so far. Not much of a signal in the locations I have been hunting this year, but I’m after them suckers. Lol
It is hard to kill or catch anything sitting on the couch!

Yea trying to decide if I want to endure the rain in the morning or just get in the stand right as the rain is ending tomorrow afternoon.
