Thanks all! I’ve gotten my fair share of 7pts and 6pts but could never break past 7pt. I’d even manage to get deer with 5pt on one side, and a spike on the other. Had a couple chances at an 8pt+ but would miss or spook the deer before it would get in range. Even worse was that I’d never even see an 8pt or even get one on camera at club and but Id take my cousin from out of state to hunt for a day or two, and he ended up shooting an 8pt after I told him exactly where to sit and everything. Don’t have an exciting story for this one other than when I pulled the trigger, I thought he was a tall 6pt I’ve had on camera (4x2). I really thought I had completely missed til he started doing the dance about 75yds from where I shot. It was a pleasant surprise when I walked up to him. Did you kill em with that new 350 Legend?  You know, when I opened the safe this morning, the creedmoor and legend were side by side. I sat staring at both for a moment but went with the creedmoor since the bucks I’ve been seeing have been moving before there’s much light and the legend is only iron sights. I was afraid I’d blowed it in half with the creedmoor but it was a gamble I was willing to take.
