I bought the solar panels with the integrated battery. They are 60$. Being that every time I had to change the batteries it cost 30$ they will pay for themselves in short order.

Solar panel with integrated battery is the only way to go as far as I'm concerned. My cameras have never had batteries in them. I use a piece of 2x4 screwed to a metal fence post, panel on top, camera below it. This way I can move them easily and don't have to worry about connecting the 2 pieces each time.

Send us a pic of your setup next time you're out there. Maybe something we need to do next year.

Here ya go. Solar panel is mounted near top of 2x4 so it can swivel to wherever I need it to for the sun.

I hv both Spartan and Tatacam. On the T’cam… really? 16 MP? It’s hard to believe that the picture is actually a 16 MP quality!!! Spartan cams are awesome. 16 PM is really hard for me to believe as the quality of T’cam’s pix are not good…. at all!

It's a Winghome panel from Amazon. It's one of the ones Tactacam recommends. Here ya go: Linky

Sure did. Came with 3 different cables so they fit various cams.

One of mine hasn't updated or sent pics in 4 days. I seriously doubt someone found it, and the batteries are new 🤷🏾‍♂️

That has been my primary problem. I have one that hasn't checked in for 2 days. The last one that was doing that said it had 100% battery and when I started messing with it, it wouldn't come on. Replaced the batteries and its all good.

I just got my 2 back I sent off, and they seem to have fixed them. Put in new batteries, powered them up and they seem to be working.

I am about to buy a bunch of their battery packs. I am not sure I can make the solar panels work.

Are you sure it is your camera?

I think the phone companies are reducing the 4G signal. My camera & phone both started having problems this year in my hunting area. Last year I got 3 bars on my phone, this year, 1 and 0 sometimes.

Is it ON smile. I won't walk away from mine without receiving a pic. They'll drain the batteries if the cell signal is weak trying to communicate.

Yep it's on. Hasn't sent a pic since the 13th or updated. Installed new batteries about 10 days ago...

Dang things acting up again. Changed out the batteries last go around because they apparently went dead, AND i added a Solar panel, this was back in the 21st and last pic i got was the 19th and hasn't checked in in 4 days. Definitely has a power drain, going to have to contact them i reckon.

ISNT the purpose of the solar panel to replace the batteries or keep them charged?
