I am running 6 of them. I have sent 3 back for warranty repair and now I have a 4th that isn't checking in or sending pics.

And I'm paying $12/camera while they sit in the shop.

I stopped using spypoint because they don't send all the pics, but at least they seem to work.

It's such a pain to get the process started with tactacam too. They will wantt me to go clean the sim card and try a bunch of stuff first. And then find the receipt.

Have you tried a hard reset on the one not checking in and sending pics? We have 9 of them and a hard reset solves most problems.

I have 6 as well and I had a couple stop working but it has always been a sd card issue. I put a new 32 gb u3 card in them and never swap a card from one camera to another and that seems to be working well.

You can stop the subscription on the ones in the shop until you get them back.

The only problem I have ever had with them is an SD problem. For what ever reason, they have to have a class 10 card.

I usually log off and back on - is that a hard reset?

My tactacams do well

I heard some say they don’t send all the pics - in Camden before acorn drop I got Ton of pics per day

Love my Tactacam. Hate my Spypoint. The only advantage of the SpyPoint was easy hookup to a 12V battery, but good reliable power doesn't mean a thing when everything else about it sucks.

I bought 2 new tactacams. Right out of the box one stays at half signal and 80% battery life with new batteries.

I have 5 Reveals out operating. Ive had to send one back because it took a picture every 1 minute. They actually sent me a different/new camera back and it took me a while to get it working because it was not set up to send pics to my account.
I have issues with AT&T because they apparently just randomly shut down for a few hours and you get no pictures. I have put up some regular trail cameras on the same tree and see that the Reveals do miss a lot of deer. You never know until you do this. I had 6 doe in front of me while hunting a couple weeks ago right in front of the camera for a good 10 minutes, and the camera did not send me a single image. Nothing is perfect, but I think most of my problem is with AT&T and not Reveal.

No. There's a small hole on bottom of camera. Put camera in setup mode and put a paperclip or something similar into hole and push button for 10 seconds.

I love Tactacam but Spartan is the best straight up. I have both and the extra 100 bucks is worth it

I had one that stopped transmitting or checking in. They replaced it. Then the next two that are in the shop right now, one stopped transmitting, and the other shows a weak signal, even when it was mounted 1 foot under the 1 that stopped transmitting.

Now I got one that isn't transmitting. See a pattern? I have the 32g scan disk extreme pro u3 10 cards in all of them.

Its really quite frustrating. Spypoints would take 10 million pics of nothing. And send those, but deer, not so much. I swear their sensitivity changes during deer season, and they take so many pic's you have to be on the unlimited plan.

I'm running 8 of them I like them only had two fail this this year. One is an x model and takes pictures while in the off position but won't come on in the on position. The other one is a sk model and the lipo pack failed. Need to send them in already have the rga number for both but haven't had time to pack them up and send them off. I'd rather them send new ones and send the old ones back in the box but that's my only gripe

Well did the hard reset and nothing. Stupid thing wouldn't even boot up. So I brought it home and on a whim, swapped the sim card and put some different batteries in it and it booted up.

The app wasn't indicating low battery either. Go figure.

I bought the solar panels with the integrated battery. They are 60$. Being that every time I had to change the batteries it cost 30$ they will pay for themselves in short order.
