Been wondering if anyone has had good results using these blue tipped copper solids. I assume they don’t explode like Winchester ballistic tips.

Very good luck here. I'm shooting the 130 gr TTSX 308. They retain about 95% of their original weight, losing only the poly tip. They mushroom great . and cause a lot of trauma. They make a mess internally and almost always pass through. Only one I ever recovered was in a buck that field dresses 204 , I shot hard quartering away . The bullet angled through from the left side hip to the right shoulder , stopping just under the hide. His vitals looked like a little bomb went off. Knowing a little about classes and properties of copper , a solid copper bullet makes perfect sense to me.

Its basically a loaded ttsx... great bullets at high velocities. If your way out there shooting a slower round I'd be a little hesitant. I've loaded some 100 grainers for my 6.5 - 06

Good ammo I load the TTSX and it performs extremely well

120 in the 7-08 and 130 in 308 and 06.

Shoulder shots are like they were hit by a bus. Bang flop.
Ive only recovered 2 bullets. I like exit holes.

120 in 260 does a good job, going to try them in a 7mm-08 this year.

I use the Tac-TX 110gr in my 300blks as my go-to for in season hunting. I almost never get a pass through. I also have never had to track an animal with them. Everything that wasn’t already running fell over DRT and the moving ones died within sight.

I've got some 130TTSX screaming out of a 30-06. They are like a bolt of lightning hit the deer but at close range they will shed the petals. I've killed 2 with them under 50 yards and both had caliber sized entrance and exit wounds with the vitals completely liquid. At further distance exits have been quarter to half dollar size. I've thought about loading some up for my 308 also.

I’ve been wanting to find some 80 or 85gr TSX/TTSX to load in 6mm Rem. Heard too many folks talk about how good they are in 243 Win.

I think the price was the same for all their 308 ammo.

My7-08 loves a 120gr NBT.
