Field runs through greenfield. Shoot house is on the far end of field. There is generally always deer in field. Is it better when the wind is at your back to park sufficiently before the field and just walk through spooking deer or is it better to drive through spooking deer and walk back to shoot house? And don’t say move the shooting house. This is going to be a south wind field regardless
But I have had to walk thru fields before to get to stand - just not ideal - and we could usually beat the deer in - I always tried to beat the deer there - hopefully your field not one where they there by 2:00
And then u run them out when u leave - I would reduce my pressure on that type set up
I would drive thru and scare out and walk back to stand on the way in - that bettr than bust by walk
Hunt the wind - leave it better than you found it - love your neighbor as you love your self We need prayer for our country now more than ever

Stand on each end for the win. I have a field like this and I hate it cause if you walk through it the deer come in and walk right to the rd and smell it to see if we walked in or not. I would drive in if I had to and drop corn each time I drove through.

The BEST answer is to cut a trail though the clearcut with a machete. I haven't found a clearcut that I couldn't cut a trail through but many times I am leaving a pretty decent blood trail by the end.

I would have to see it but I don't like that setup at all so instead of telling you to move the shooting house I'll just say this is NOT a South Wind field.
Are you seeing more deer in there on a South wind or something?
No government employees were harmed in the making of this mess.
Buy a ebike and come in hot on your approach into the field. Drive bike to the base of shooting house and hid it in the bushes. The deer will literally run off not knowing what you are due to speed and shape. They will be back within 30 minutes looking for you. I have done this numerous times over the last few years and seems to work out best over the other two options you listed.

^^^^ That actually sounds pretty good and pretty cool
Not seeing land hard to say but sounds like shooting house is on wrong side. I also know guys that hav a shooting house in each side of field to be versatile w wind - i hav not done that
On my small field at Clarke county - if I stayed on The road - I would hav to walk thru field. I cut a short cut trail thru woods that lead me right to blind - I never step in field unless to retrieve a deer r feed

I just need another south wind field. Only have one field set up kinda for south wind and need options. I’m afraid you may be correct I like sqeakys suggestion
