I can't hardly afford to hunt over bait. Guy at the co op told me this morning his next shipment of corn was going to be 12$/bag

I can't hardly afford to hunt over bait. Guy at the co op told me this morning his next shipment of corn was going to be 12$/bag I was told the same thing yesterday,guy said he expected corn to be $15 a bag by the middle of august.
The world needs more people holding deer in pictures,and less people holding cameras in front of mirrors.

That's unbelievable. He talked me into buying the big buck blend pellets. He said they would stay 9 a bag. I hope my deer like em.

I heard from my state representative that it was struck down. I looked at new regulation book just a little while ago and it's illegal to hunt over bait To my knowlege, there will be no changes in the law or in the rules that affect hunting deer with the aid of bait during the upcoming seasons. Neither of the bills were "struck down". The Senate bill made it out of committee, was read for the second time and was then "postponed indefinitely". The legislature is no longer in session, and it hasn't been in session for a while now. The "new regulation book" is not availble yet, and probably won't be available before hunting season. The new " Hunter's Digest" contains incomplete and erroneous information. There are proposed rules and proposed amended rules that are still pending in the AAPA review and comment process that may be in effect during the upcoming season. Nope not this year. But look for "area" to be defined for next season. Also, I would look for a season change for next deer season, at least for some parts of the state. Telecheck system is also in the works.
