Cut these two trees yesterday and today. Took 8hrs to cut and haul them. Tree leaning over house was a doosey. Wish i could have got some video of us swinging big limbs and logs out from over the house. My help couldnt swing limbs and film at the same time, hes still learning. Been dreading this job, the leaning tree had me a little nervous. Turned out really good. Rope man did an awesome job.

I was out of work. I had some friends who worked trimming power lines for alabama power. They got me a job. I worked for Buford, trimming power lines for about two years. Then got a job doing residential tree work. Been doing it ever since. The first tree i ever climbed at Burford, my boss told me to flip upside down and spin around about 80ft up in a pine. He was really surprised that i did it. I just kinda took to climbing trees. Was pretty good at it pretty quick. The older climbers would call me hollywood or hero, kinda making fun, because i wasnt afraid to do the hard trees or rope out the really big stuff. I guess it looked like i wasnt scared but the truth is i was really scared, i just kinda got off on the fear. Its been a hard way but it has kept the bills paid for 25+ yrs.

Cut myself a couple times with a chainsaw. 19 stitches in my palm and pinky was the worst. A couple of near accidents that should have messed me up bad but didn't. The Lord has really kept me safe.
