I'm ignorant to lever gun values. My in-laws asked me to hang onto a couple guns while they move. One is a Winchester 94 made in 1966, I'd put the rifle at 90% easy. What do you figure the value to be? He's not looking to sell just trying to educate myself on value.

Hard to say exactly, but the post 64 model 94’s took a hit in value due to their cast receivers. They didn’t switch back to forged receivers until the late 70’s or early 80’s. That said, the market for any lever gun is pretty hot right now. Value would be between $700-$950 IMO, in 90% condition if original and without modifications/drilling.

It's all original, no modifications. Wood has a few dings but no finish wear or scratches. Bluing looks great, no rust or pitting. Thanks for the info thayer.
