I bought my wife the compact 7mm-08 model several years ago. It definitely feels cheap compared to others, but if you need an inexpensive set up I recommend them to anyone.

I can get them pretty easily in 7mm-08. Shoot me a message and I'll give you some details.

Ruger only offers those in Matte Black and Black Steel now and they are also limited to .243, 6.5CM, .308 and 7mm-08 as caliber choices. I have one distributor that offers a Cerakote version but you are limited to either 6.5CM or .243 with it.

I got a 7mm-08 for my son several years ago (but not the SS version). It is a dang good shooting rifle, with very mild recoil.

Larry’s in huntsville has one. Saw it last week at least. I bought the last one they had a few months ago and they had this one out there. They may have a few around in the back somewhere
