Give me your opinions. I am in between buying a used Matthews Traix or getting a new Hoyt Torrex in a package for about the same price. Im not sure which way to go. Hoyt is smooth but wondering if the Matthews is just built better? Any info is appreciated.

I’m the wrong guy to ask because I’ve always shot Mathews. You can talk to competition shooters and hunters alike and the majority say that Mathews is the best bow on the market. Smooth draw, solid back wall, quiet, fast… every since the FX-4 Solocam days they’ve been top of the line

Go to a shop and shoot them both. Everyone has their own personal preference.

I’ve been shooting the Triax for three years and really like it. I’ve never shot the Hoyt but I was shooting a BowTech before and there is no comparison. I’ve got the Mathews quiver on it, expensive but high quality.

If you have the opportunity just shoot both bows and see what you like better. I know that’s not what you asked but that’s what I would do. Nothing like getting stuck with a bow you do not like
