Just picked up a snub nose Dan Wesson 357 on a trade. It’s got the modular barrel system, fixed rear sights and a thick wooden grip. Looks like a 2.5” barrel. It’s built like a tank. No model number to be found but a serial number in the 329xxx range. Anyone have any input of a possible model number and correct grips for this thing?

What did they call the combo's ? Wasn't it Pistol Pak ? Fixed rear sight should put it in the "Duty" line.

Great guns. I've owned 5-6, but someone else always wants them enough to get me to sell.

Might be a model 15-2. I have one with a 8 3/8" barrel that was a model 15-2V, came with the target grips and the combat grips but the rear sight is adjustable. Outstanding gun no doubt and definitely a shooter too. It was the 2nd handgun I ever bought, I think I paid like 326.00 for when i bought (1977). Wouldn't take a thousand for it now.
