I know dieing is a part of life, but I'm getting tired of it. MIL passed last Oct, Dad in Feb, and now my Mom on 5 Aug. Mom and Dad was 85 & 86 years old, so no one should complain. My grandson wasn't quite 4 months old before he passed in 2017. His feet never touched grass, so folks who live a decade or more shouldn't complain. But I'm gonna miss my Mom's smile, touch, voice, and her Black Raspberry and Mince Meat pies. This song sure touches my heart. Reminds me of picking berries and Mom baking me a pie. She sure could cook. Nothing she made I wouldn't eat.
Sure gonna miss her.

I hear ya man i know it's part of life but it's rough. I've lost a lot, however i'm lucky to still have both parents (and a Step-dad) and I'll be honest it's bothered me a lot this past year more than ever, reckon cause i see my age in the mirror and my boys are purty much grown up now themselves. Then i look and them (my parents) and think WOW they're getting old. I will say this though, my Mom lost her dad at 49 of Cancer & her Mother at 63 of Cancer, and my Mama will turn 67 this November so i feel extremely grateful for the time we've had together but i don't think it could ever be enough. My Dad turns 67 Monday and he's survived Cancer for 5 years now, but it's really brought him down...
How many people am i willing to sacrifice for freedom? Everyone. All of them...
Do not regret growing older, it's a privilege denied to many!

Sorry for your loss My experience with this is that you never get over the loss but you do learn to live with it and will find yourself smiling occasionally at a fond memory
When I need expert advice I tend to talk to myself The older I get the better I used to be

Sorry for your loss. Momma's are special. Prayers sent.
If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14

Speaking of cooking - mine cooked the best food I have ever eaten - has not done it in long time though - she is in a nursing home and 87 now - glad she still here. My dad went in 2006
Will say prayer for you
