On facebook I see Clemson has already asserted they have the #1 defense in the nation before they have even played a game! Ha Ha I bet Clemson gets it handed to them by Notre Dame which may be their only ranked opponent when it’s all said and done, their schedule is laughable at best

I don’t think Miami will be ranked by the time they play. NC State has a 50/50 shot of being ranked by then.
Maybe I’m just extremely biased but unless you’re playing in the SEC or Big 10 it’s going to take a perfect season and mostly blowout wins for me to even remotely feel like your team deserves to be in the playoff discussion N.C State plays ECU, Charleston So. , Texes Tech(at home) and Conn before Clemson; they will probably be undefeated. They play Miami late in year; I would guess them to have 2 losses by then, maybe still ranked. But, not trying to make the case that ACC is like SEC or BIG 10; no comparison. Unless DJ Ukelele plays a LOT better than last year (or they have a better QB available?) I expect Clemson to lose a game or 2. They do have most of their tougher games at home ; though.
