Keep in mind that most voters are only paying attention to those things which they face directly, like gas and groceries. Hope you’re right but that overwhelming vote in KS wasn’t expected. Republican politicians there received a wake up call. Not sure how much social media you go on but I think your statements off because soon as it happened they were jumping the fence publicly. I think it’s going to get interesting for sure Think you are reading way too much into that. It worked just like it was supposed to, let the individual states decide. Most level headed independents and conservatives aren't voting overall with abortion as their #1 issue.

It doesn't matter what this will do to the economy the Democrats were always going to drive us off the cliff. It's their plan and they have 100% control of all branches of our Government.
The true issue is simple...... When the Republicans regain power in the hall of Congress.... what will happen?
Will they repeal this?
I say not a chance in hell. They love to point their fingers and cry like a bunch of 3rd graders but when the rubber meets the road those tires are bald and dry rotted. They aren't going anywhere.
They are not going to run on anything in November as a Party. They are just going to say they aren't the Democrats but make no promises or have any plan. Just watch.
No government employees were harmed in the making of this mess.

IMO the Republicans are in on it. Did Mitch really get outplayed by that bastion of conservatism within the Democrats from West Virginia?
No. They pushed the first bill through got the spending the Republicans wanted..... and then played pretend "we had no idea" on it's heels was another massive bill.
I don't trust that 1 bit. They knew all along. They just screwed the American people. Republicans have been doing this since George W's 2nd term like a orchestrated play over and over and over again.
Wise up!

Guys, it's not just Democrats. It's republican too. Both are bad. I'm tired of holding my nose to vote republican. This system is out of date for our times. One person isn't able to run this country correctly. They don't get anything done. All we do is argue over both parties while both parties screw us. It's a diversion game these days. Common sense would tell us this system is broken, outdated and needs reconstruction. I don't have any recommendations to fix it. I just know when we are running in circles against each other and that's exactly what this country is doing. A while going down hill. Republicans are letting Democrats do what they want because they are getting paid either way. Very well said......agree with you in everyway......

Now she cant support Desantis because he is too dangerous. The danger is he would try to take power away from elites. Problem is they view themselves as elite and they know better than the people they represent.

my 2021 return was audited (actually was last week). I was owed additional and just got the letter stating so. I am in the waiting period now and should have the refund soon. They say it was due to the child tax credits.
For those of you that say, that must be nice, we live within our means to make sure we do not owe in a given year. I have chosen to get a refund by having alot of taxes taken out. I can tell you that will change going forward and I will be aiming to break even given that my return should have been issued in March and we are in August looking at September to get it.
If this is the new way, we may see live audits in the same tax year instead of the traditional 3-5 yr lookback.
It is what it is.
Inspect what you Expect.

I hope they audit the shucks out of those claiming to make under $25k or no income at all, while claiming 6 kids. I hope they catch a bunch of those folks that both parents are claiming the kids separately. I also hope they hang those tax preparers in the low income areas that are advertising $5700 refund per kid regardless of income and double and triple that, depending on how many baby daddies day gots. The only thing I hate more than a democrat is the IRS and the only thing I hate more than the IRS are those folks living off of my friggin sweat all year and then getting a $10k refund while I pay all year out the azz and then stroke those commie basturds another check come April.
they won’t do chit to this group

This is the "Recession Transition to Depression" bill.

Can someone put in laymen's terms for me what it will do to the middle class?
Other than obviously continue to make things more expensive, are we actually gonna see taxes increase in middle class tax brackets? The way I understand it is no tax increases for middle class folks. Now the corporate taxes in this bill will likely get passed down to the consumer. If you own your own business, effectively your taxes just shot up as the IRS is likely going to audit the hell out of any small/medium size business. They ain’t hiring 87k new agents to audit the big corporations. Anything other than standard deductions are going to create a tax nightmare for folks who can’t afford armies of accountants.
