They have a higher set of mounts. They suggested the medium mounts. Im gona get the higher mounts. If ive gotta redo it, im gona do it right. This is the right way to do it.

If u wanted your scope sitting as close to the bullet (barrel) as possible it would’ve been fine shimming with an aluminum can (and I guess electrical tape). Got a .22 that I haven’t shot in a year or so that’s done that way and would bet my next paycheck I could hit a quarter at 50 with the first shot. Half of the people that have scopes put on for them have shims between the scope and the ring and don’t know it. Yupp
We will burn that bridge when we get there
