Got my new Trijicon Accupoint, got my new Talley rings. Put my new Talley rings on my new rifle and guess what. They sent me a mismatched screw. One wrong screw gummed up the whole works. Its getting to where nothing is right these days.

Call them up and I’m sure they’ll make it right. Mistakes happen, how a company or person handle the issue in my opinion almost matter more than everything.
My phone calls with Talley have always been pleasant in the past.

Depending on the rifle action…..The screws aren’t always the same length for the front and rear bases. I’d almost guarantee you’ve got a screw swapped. Take them all back out and see if 2 aren’t a little bit longer than the other two. Those will go in the base that’s thicker than the other.

Talley is extremely easy to deal with. A few years back, they sent me about 2 dozen assorted screws to simplify the process when I got a mismatched set of rings.

Not length, diameter. The screw didnt fit the hole. I know screws end up in the wrong bin and mistakes happen but it sux. I got a screw that fit and got my scope mounted. No big deal. I would just expect a set of "premium scope mounts" to come with the right screws

I gotcha, misunderstood your first post. That would be mighty aggravating. Good news is, as mentioned, Talley will go out of their way to make it right.

Glad you got your scope mounted.

Talley has sent me more screws than they should have. Just let them know.

Several year back I got talleys with a bad screw. Called them up and they sent another whole mount as a replacement. All companies make mistakes, difference in good companies and poor ones is how they handle those mistakes.
