What I've read in this thread so far is everyone thinking the US would handle this situation alone
Dont forget that many other countries depend on Taiwans chip production like we do
It would be very bad for China to try to invade....it would definitely start WWIII

The last time China attempted to invade a country was 1979. Vietnam changed their minds pretty quickly. The US has been building up Japan’s naval forces to the point where they’re a credible force. Japan has also ordered a number of F-35s which appear to be invisible to Russian and Chinese anti aircraft systems. China would likely have to deal with India, Vietnam, Australia, Japan, possibly South Korea and the Philippines along with the US and European forces. Pretty tall order for a nation with zero combat experience in the last forty years.
