Oh boy, lots to unpack here. Open borders, parent muleing kids out, corporate malfeasance. Sounds like AG isn't interested?

Yeah, that's a mess.

I’m not a pro union supporter. But it makes you question when someone says unions are no longer needed as companies maintain their own compliance with labor laws and OSHA regulations. Isn’t this situation one of the reasons unions came about to begin with?

No it’s because OSHA didn’t exist when unions were founded.

Would they not have to have a social security number to receive a paycheck
Surely the company wasn’t paying under the table

Always wondered how they kept their cars that cheap.

But dont worry. Illegal immigrants and children only do the jobs American workers dont want.

There exists a well orchestrated network to provide "clean" SSNs and often times investigations will find the SSN used all across the nation but they seem quite careful to limit it to only one time in any particular state at a time, at least most of the time. They will use it in multiple states simultaneously though. Quite frankly the politicians and business owners that we so often hear about controlling immigration only do so until it hurts their ability to find cheap labor. Start closing the gap and putting pressure on them and the politicians quickly tell you to back off, discretely of course

A lot of these places use “placement agencies” for production employees, these agencies provide all the necessary paperwork. My son worked in the poultry industry and it was an issue there also.

My kids are 12yo and 15yo, neither one legal to work in the US. My son has more money put back than 90% of people 10yrs older than him. My daughters not so good with money but shes learning. That being said, i get all the "child labor" i can out of them. Lifes hard, if you dont work, you dont make it. They will learn that lesson before they leave my care. If these "kids" in this factory arent shackled to the machines they are operating and they arent being physically abused somehow, i dont see a problem with it. Our country is teaching our kids to be worthless.

Our company supports manufacturing, so I have had the opportunity to work with people from many different countries. Without a doubt the Korean companies have been the most underhanded and corrupt. I know there’s crooks from all nationalities, but that has been my experience.

If they're hiring 12 year old's, paying under the table is no hill to climb.
