I am blessed. When they love you as their own. Genuinely care about you.

In 1993 when the blizzard hit, we were all good neighbors. Some before but most all were afterwards.

My home was in Albertville in 2009 when a tornado came through, and that seemed to make good neighbors. There was however some folks that were not really affected that tried to take advantage of everything being strewn across the neighborhoods. The people that had their stuff strewn had a different attitude towards it though. For them it was I'll help if I possibly can.

I've never lived in a hurricane zone but I'd imagine they have a way of making good neighbors too.

When my dad passed roughly 10 years ago, my mom’s next door neighbor carried her trash can to the curb twice a week for 7 years until she moved into an independent living facility.

Well my closest neighbor which I can't see but drive by there every day gave up on his yard when he divorced...it looks like a junk yard but I ain't touching it when he's able and his 36 yr old son is able and lives with him...one of the nicest men you'll meet but he just don't give a rats about his yard..I do anything else for him tho
